If you are going to use elder flowers it is best to pick them when the flowers have recently begun to open , before they are fully blown . Do this in the morning of a warm day when they will have maximum scent and flavour .
Then what ?
Is anyone prepared to share their secrets / favourite recipe ?

Hi there,
will get Melanie to share the recipe ..
We actually still have a good few bottles because as far as I remember it wasn't too much of my liking .. mind you it might have aged well.
She made some cordial and sparkling wine.
