Happened a few times, as recent as yesterday. Go to collect the eggs, and one or two are broke, in the nest box, on the floor, even outside. Don't really know what the problem is. Any clues? GILL

It could be a few things,your own birds,Magpie's,do you have a dog roaming about. |

Do you have an over-boisterous cokerel in the hen house ? If he chases the hens around in there then eggs may get broken and/or pushed out of the nest .
