Good morning,

Would anyone be interested in a baguette making lesson ?

it's just that more and more people ask me for the recipe, and there is some sort of a knack to it ...

it would only be 2/3 person at most at a time ... due to the restricted worktop, and you could bring the fillings and refreshments, and that would be it .. It's no aimed to be anything commercial, no money involved ... except the cost of raw materials which makes you understand how cost effective it is to make your own.

would anyone consider doing it ?

no dates or anything fixed yet, it's more to get an idea of the interests, and we can then work around it.

Camile

Hi Camile, after our recent visit and the brief instructions you gave Derrie, we now have lots in the freezer. Even I have made a batch...... !

Hello,

I didn't have much interests so far from this forum, but a lady doing cookery classes in town has asked me to come and do a session for her.

happy days ..

so it's just a reminder that I could organize something for the forum members if there was some interests.

Here is an idea of what you could make:

this is a batch that I have sold to my previous colleagues back in Galway, and now have to do about the same every friday to keep up with the demand.

On the left are the baguettes, on the right it's the Pain viennois.

I can tell you that Camile's bread is excellent .
It freezes well in a partially cooked state and is easily finished off in the oven whenever you want it .
