Usually we slaughter males at about six months but for some reason we kept on this boyo, only known as 'little brown guy', well not so little anymore.
We used him for breeding this years' kids but have experienced inbreeding problems so he's going to have to go.

While we've kind of got used to butchering males and don't get too attached to them, this fellow is really quite pretty and tame too and given a choice between turning him into sausage and having him join a herd somewhere nice, I'd definitely prefer the latter. He was born June 20, 2005 and is mixed-breed. His line goes back to our first goat, Sally, who was of Saanen type, with 3 generations and 3 different billies in between.
If anyone would be interested in him please let me know.

Good luck !

Hi Chook,
Your goat looks great. Do you still have him? We are looking for new blood in our small group and your man looks ideal.
What price are you asking for him? |
