We finally gave in and took down the Beech. Should have plenty of wood for the fires and for sculpting.

Great pics !
It gives me vertigo just thinking about being out on that limb . Give a shout if you want a hand with the logging . I am quite brave when they are laying on the ground and I will do anything to avoid my own jobs .
Who did it for you in the end ? |

Sherwood Forestry from Strandhill. I am just starting to sort out the timber, they left it in neat piles of different size log. I will be very happy to give you a shout when we start to cut them for the wood shed. We have a left a 20ft trunk that hopefully will re-sprout in a year or two.
