|

Last Saturday I got four new pullets but they refuse to go to bed. They have their own house and I leave them in bed in the mornings to 10am. They pop out and poke about happily all day but at bedtime they find corners to crouch down for the night and I have to carry them one by one back to the henhouse. At least I can bribe my teenage daughter.
Any suggestions apart from chicken casserole?

Hello,
it's not uncommon at all and they will get the hang of it to go themselves to bed within a few days .. the longest I had to do it was about 2 weeks ..
until then, keep bribing your daughter !
