Would you risk death for an ability. Either way planet Earth would be better off with half of us gone.

I like to watch this series, more for the social lessons than just entertainment. The question has a predictable answer me thinks. The older we are the greater likelihood we would say yes. This is not reflected in the program as most of those that have taken the shot are quite young. Having said that, I would have taken the shot when I was much younger. A rebellious thing Cool

Ah , so it is a tv programme ? Unfortunately I am not familiar with it . I have been wondering what sort of abilities might come about as a result of taking a big risk .
But on reflection we have already risked life-as-we-know-it , Jim , by moving here and I have gained the ability to imagine all sorts of goings-on in the Faerie Wood so I guess the answer is "yes" ! Laughing

Indeed a brave thing to do for the both of you. I suppose how much of a brave thing depends on how much risk is taken. We have a contingency plan if it all goes tits up. So the risk is real but not devastatingly so. The gist of the 4400 is that there is an inoculate available that will either kill you or give you a super human gift. 50/50 chance. This scenario I find more interesting than the story line. Here the risk is total. I find it fascinating Shocked Well I am from the 60 ies Cool

Thanks for the illumination Laughing . It is quite thought-provoking isn't it but since I have an accute aversion to anything to do with needles my answer has immediately changed to "no" !
Unless I could take it orally .
With a little whisky perhaps ?
